After many kilometers, dirt roads, tracks, fence leaping, trekking over fields, hunting desolate beaches and driving up deserted valleys lined with lonely hillsides, I have selected 'the best of' my images from two distintive periods for me.
Steve's Vision DVD covers my work upto the end of 2007 and blankets over primarily the three years leading up to that point.
Steve's Vision DVD2 covers mostly 2008 which was the year I spent capturing New Zealand from Cape Reinga to the Bluff and many points between to fill in some gaps from DVD1.
The DVDs were made in quite a collaborative approach with me as the photographer, my Dad doing all the wizardry of making the movies themselves, and my Mum and me making the music ... all original. The DVDs are then pressed and printed commercially here in Wellington.
The films are set up with ten chapters each attributed to 'Places' and 'Things' of NZ and both DVDs have the same feel and approach - although with different images, unique music and some appropriate sound effects to set the ambience. The DVDs run for 86 minutes each with over 300 pictures and look fantastic on widescreen or regular TV, and are set for PAL DVD players which are compatible across the world.
